European Gamechangers 2025
This project strengthens civic engagement by equipping trainers, educators, and artists with the skills and knowledge to foster inclusive, fact-based dialogue and active citizenship.
Empowering Civic Engagement Through Dialogue and the Arts
This project strengthens civic engagement by equipping trainers, educators, and artists with the skills and knowledge to foster inclusive, fact-based dialogue and active citizenship. Through capacity-building workshops and cultural exchange, we address societal polarization, promote media literacy, and highlight the role of the arts in democratic discourse. The project consists of two activities: A Train-the-Trainer Workshop in February and a Conference in October.

Train-the-Trainer Workshop: How to manage polarized and polarizing groups
In an intensive two-day workshop, we aim to equip trainers, educators, and facilitators with the right tools, strategies, and approaches to address the challenges they face in their work. This training will provide moderation techniques and practical strategies to work with polarized groups, enable productive dialogues, and promote fact-based discussions – especially in this time of increasing societal polarization and post-factual narratives.
Learning objectives include navigating polarization in trainings, promoting respectful and fact-based dialouges, managing challenging group dynamics and countering misinformation.
The Artist as Citizen Conference
In this conference, we are adressing the role of an artist as a citizen, and a driving force for active citizenship. We are going to discuss cultural competences of artists in the context of European Integration. We aim to bring different experiences, cultures and backgrounds together in order to emphasise the importance of investing in research, collaboration and the cultivation of european values.
